Small town living doesn’t mean sacrificing world-class education. In fact, Virginia is known for its robust education and high-quality schools and the Northern Shenandoah Valley is no exception. The Shenandoah Valley is home to ten colleges and universities, state and nationally recognized K-12 public schools, two regional governor’s schools and a variety of private schools.
K-12 programs such as the BioMedical Sciences Academy offer a hands on introduction for high school students interested in pursuing a career in health science.
Laurel Ridge Community College offers workforce and continuing education for a variety of programs including business, computer and information technology, education, engineering, healthcare, arts & humanities, science, agriculture, trades and manufacture, and more.
In the Valley, we pride ourselves on providing a strong foundation for students of all ages.
